    The winter months (June-August) is ski season in Chile. We offer comfortable, private round-trip transportation from any location in Santiago to the ski centers of Valle Nevado, La Parva, and El Colorado in the Farellones area (approx. 1.5 – 2 hours distance), as well as Portillo Ski Resort in the shadow of Mount Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere (approx. 2.5 hours distance). I used Chile Dream Tours for my transport for a day of skiing in the Andes at Valle Nevado. Their response to my inquiry was punctual and I found the fee for their services reasonable. I was picked up punctually at 7 am by Sean who have the driver but also had promised to support with practicalities, ski and other gear rentals. The drive to Valle Nevado was smooth and safe. The car was a mini wagon. Sean clearly knew the route and he also shared interesting info on Chile both ways. The road up is really serpentine but the scenery was incredible. The traffic up can get heavy on weekends and public holidays but was good on a Friday. Overall an excellent experience.
