pickup at port on time, guide and driver excellent, walk around Valparaiso great, guide suggested great place to eat,. Visit to the vineyard was excellent great wine. Drop off at Hotel was perfect.

Tour guide and driver same person assured us that he would be with the locked van at all times. This was not the case and all 5 people were robbed of belongings left in the van since the driver assured us repeatedly that he would be with locked van at all times. Fortunately no one got injured. My wife and I loss jewelry, computers and other items valued in excess of $40,000 mostly uninsured. When I returned to the states I contacted Viator 3 days after the rorbbery and shockingly the tour operator had not even notified Viator of the robbery. The tour guide did not even suggest going to the police station. We said take us to the police station. The language barriers did not make it an easy process. We have used Viator for many years and think they do a great job. We intend to continue to use them on our extensive travels and do not hold them responsible, The operator STAMP'S is totally responsible and the drive/tour guide emphasizing the van is safe continually raises suspicions.

We loved walking around Valparaiso, guided and un-guided, with plenty of time for lunch at our choice of restaurant. The wine tasting was also good, and we arrived in good time at our hotel in Santiago. It was a bit dis-organised at the cruise terminal with the 8am start being more like 9am. However, we were in the first vehicle which set off, so luckier than others!
