On one day in this guided tour. Visit the Cajón del Maipo famous for its hills, massifs, estuaries and rivers. This tour is for lovers of ecotourism, tranquility and fresh mountain air. Start the visit of San Jose de Maipo to learn the history and the folklore of this area. After that enjoy the best part of the tour to the hotsprings thermal pools with temperatures that vary between 25 degrees Celsius, in the lower pools, up to 55 degrees Celsius, the highest.
The thermal baths are perfectly integrated with the wonderful mountain environment, being able to appreciate the majesty of the Andes mountain range. The waters are highly mineralized and have a series of healing properties, from the relief of rheumatic ailments, healing of dermal wounds, purification of toxins. All this with Picnic included (snacks cheeses, olives, salami, wine, juices, etc)

Cajon del Maipo, Chile Cajón del Maipo is a canyon located in the Andean southeastern portion of the Santiago Metropolitan Region. It encompasses the upper Maipo River basin, where the river has entrenched itself in a narrow valley. The zone features a series of confluent rivers such as El Volcán River, Yeso River and Colorado River, as well as other minor streams, including San Gabriel, Manzanito, Coyanco, El Sauce, El Manzano and San José. The main locality is San José de Maipo, capital of the commune that includes all of the Andean sector of the Metropolitan Region 30 minutes
Tunel Ferroviario del Tinoco, San Jose de Maipo, Chile The abandoned Tunel del Tinoco tunnels through the mountains along Camino Al Volcán, a remnant from the region’s railways days. Trains ran through the tunnel between 1914 and 1980. Now, it is completely dark, with a strange smell and a chilling past. 20 minutes

Termas Valle de Colina, San Jose de Maipo, Chile Termas Colinas, also known as Baños Colina has 7 natural thermal pools, is located in the heart of the Andes mountain range and offers vacationers a unique opportunity to get in touch with nature in its purest form. Warning, if you are one of those people who cannot survive without internet connection for more than 2 minutes, an important piece of advice: There is no Wi-Fi signal in Termas Colina! But we know this won´t be a factor that will stop you from experiencing this gem, located only two hours from Santiago.

San Gabriel, San Jose de Maipo, Región Metropolitana de Santiago, Chili San Gabriel emerged as a small village born from livestock activities and the exploitation of quarries and mines. In this town it is possible to observe on the rocky slopes of the hills the "Cypress of the Cordillera", one of the few existing confieras in the country. A great attraction are “Los rodados de San Gabriel”
El Melocotón, San José de Maipo, Región Metropolitana, Chili Locality that arose from the need to have natural pastures to feed the animals that came down from the mountain range. Viagem top, guia Nano muito atencioso, cordial e pontual . Fizemos varias paradas para tirar fotos, picnic acompanhado de um bom vinho e finalizamos na casa de chocolate. Muito top !! Recomendo a todos.

Der erste Teil bestand aus kurzen Fotostopps, was mir nicht so gefällt. Dann waren wir in der Therme, die wunderschön gelegen ist, aber jeglicher sanitärer Einrichtungen entbehrt. Umziehen also nach Anstehen in einem engen, schmutzigen Klo, wo man nicht weiß, wohin man seine sauberen Sachen hinlegen könnte.
Picknick war nett und auch der Abstecher zum Ort San José. Leider hatte der Guide nicht viel zu erzählen.
