Catch a ferry and cross the Mandovi River to Divar Island. Experience a gem of old world charm, paddy fields, ancient temples, pretty churches, Indo-Portuguese houses and winding roads in our Divar Island Tour. As you enter the island, you’ll find locals sitting with their fishing rods in hope of making a catch in the Mandovi river. The tops of hillocks on the island gives you a lovely view of the river. Divar Island is so blissfully green and tranquil that you’re enticed to slip into a peaceful meditation. All these make for an ideal Goan village tour. Beautiful day trip to Divar Island. A must for all those who want to go somewhere not to far, yet experience another facet of Goa. Pawan from 'Make it Happen' showcased the island's history beautifully and was equally mindful of respecting the privacy of the residents. A special word of thanks to Mrs Agnes for her warm hospitality and delicious food. Truly memorable! Meet time I'm in Goa, I'll stay at Divar Island for a day or two to soak in all in :-)

This was the highlight of our Goa trip! For our 10th Anniversary we chose to do this trip with Make it Happen and oh they made it the most memorable day for us. Pawan our guide was exceptional. His calm and composed nature and most importantly the slow pace with which he conducted the tour with absolutely no hurry was what we loved. The sights, learning about Goan history and walking in the streets of this wonderful island is a must-do when in Goa. The local family that we visited were warm and made us feel so at home. The food was exceptional~ home-cooked Goan meal was lip-smacking. Live Goan music as a part of this trip was another highlight of the day. Thank you Make my trip and Thank you Pawan for a day we will remember for a lifetime!

This was our 2nd trip with Make it Happen Goa and as usual they have amazing storytellers. Gaurish Rathod our guide for the trip was the sweetest and most entertaining storyteller. He was quite patient with us and answered all the questions our kids had. Really had a great time learning about the history of Divar island and why the people there are so protective about their home. Our visit to have breakfast at the Monteiro’s home was really good n Evane played her ukulele so beautifully. You could do this trip by yourself but u won’t be any wiser if u didn’t do it with a knowledgeable guide and that’s what makes Make It Happen Goas storytellers so amazing. Really enjoyed our trip Tip: best time to do this trip in the evenings!
