Our Cesarine (the name of our hosts) will welcome you like part of the family and will teach you their family cooking secrets for an authentic culinary experience.

The host was amazing! Very patient and knowledgeable - he had everything set up and ready to go when we arrived. It was the best pasta we had in Italy throughout our whole trip. It was a small group- only 4 of us so it was very intimate.

We made two different types of unique pasta and Tiramisu in Luca's apartment. Luca was very knowledgeable about the area and about Italian cooking. We ended up having a private class, as we were the only couple. Free wine to pair with the pasta and while cooking, a great experience!

We did this experience in a group of 3 and definitely recommend using the map that he provided! It was easy to find coming off the train. Luca‘s apartment was adorable and clean with an incredible view of Riomaggiore. He had extensive knowledge on the history of Italian gastronomy and provided us all the ingredients and directions in an organized, easy to understand way. He offered two options for this pasta class, gnocci (beginner friendly) or trofie (more experienced.) We had a lot of fun making gnocchi, pesto sauce, and tiramisu. At the end of the experience, Luca set the table and opened a bottle of wine and we enjoyed a wonderful meal and an italian sunset. I dont think we can ever buy jar pesto again! Grazie Luca for being a courteous host and a beautiful, intimate, delicious experience. Bravo!
