You can take a promenade in colorful boats similar to the gondolas while pass browsing food vendors, artisans, and mariachis. The atmosphere is festive, especially at weekends.

City tour is ok. The xochimilco was worst. The lunch was not good not worth the money you paid for and boats were bumping into each other.I can recommend the city tour but not having lunch in the boat

Ursula is an excellent tour guide, good English and knowledge of history. She makes sure everyone has a good time, highly recommended! The best part was the festive lunch on the boats in the canal, highlight of my trip to CDMX.
