  • Zona Arqueologica de Coba, Coba, Quintana Roo, Mexico
    Visit Cobá, a majestic city surrounded by exuberant vegetation and recognized for having the tallest building in the archaeological zones north of the Yucatan Peninsula, Nohoch Mul. It is a 7-level structure as tall as 42 meters (138 feet) which has 120 steps from bottom to top. This archaeological site is located in a beautiful area surrounded by 5 lagoons and numerous cenotes, noted for having the widest network of roads called "sacbé" meaning “white road” in Mayan. This gave the Mayans great power and control back in the day as they facilitated trade. During your tour, you will also explore the Church Temple, the Oval Temple, two different ball games. Get an up close look at the famous stone carvings, where the Mayans etched out important events, as well as astronomical findings. Don't miss out on this impressive cultural legacy and visit this historical site.

Great tour packed with amazing information. Weather is great for this tour. Not too hot at all. Our guide stopped and took his time and catered the tour around us as far as walking/riding etc.

The guide Lalo was really entertaining and knowledgeable. He told us a lot of really interesting facts about Mexico and the local region plus about Coba itself. The driver was also great, very helpful. The pasta was delicious too!

We had a wonderful morning in Coba. Our tour guide Lalo did an amazing job sharing his knowledge about the area, ruins and was just generally entertaining. We were pleasantly surprised with the water, pop and snacks that they provided us on the way out there. When we arrived we expected to have to pay for the bike rentals but that was INCLUDED as well!! WOW! Then to top it all off we received a delicious lunch of chicken and pasta! Great day all around, top notch guides and experience. THANK YOU!
