Artie is a fantastic guide! He is passionate about the topic and had so many interesting stories. He brought along photos and maps to help us visualize life in Berlin after WWII. This is not a highlight tour of all the sites in Berlin. This tour visits a few places and explains these in detail. We never felt rushed and were able to ask questions along the route. This tour requires subway travel; purchase a day pass before you begin. The walking pace was very manageable for a couple in their late 50’s. Even my husband, who is not a history nerd, loved the tour. We have been talking about it ever since we went. We both highly recommend.

Great host with lots of information and facts, well informed guide. A suggestion would be to spend less time next to the subway train tracks and do the explanation for that part up the stairs away from the train line, as it was difficult to hear. Other than that en excellent tour

We hebben een zeer aangename en boeiende wandeling gehad met onze gids, Xavier. Reeds van in het begin van de wandeling merkte je op dat hij veel wist over het onderwerp en dat hij zo veel mogelijk informatie wou delen met zijn groep. We passeerden onder andere Friedrichstrasse station, tränenpalast, monument van de Berlijnse muur, Nordbahnhof en reconciliation church. Er was met momenten een overvloed aan informatie, maar Xavier deed er alles aan om zijn groep een fijne tijd te bezorgen! We hebben er van genoten.
