It is the archaeological territory of an ancient Tayrona city located in the Sierra Nevada whose foundation is attributed to the year 800, many years before Machu Picchu. Tayrona paradise is made up of a series of terraces dug into the mountainside made up of a network of tiled paths and small circular squares. Access to Ciudad Perdida is made by ascending some 1,200 stone steps through the vast jungle of the region.

A great experience accompanied by a professional, friendly and attentive guide. Destination was Lost City but every day had its magic and learnings. Very important to wear proper footwear (hiking boots or shoes). You walk a lot but at the same time stops are made on the way to hydrate and the guides are usually very respectful of your walking pace.

It was an enriching and adventure-filled experience. Our tour, with a great guide, allowed us to learn from the different indigenous cultures, as well as enjoy the landscapes and magical places. It takes a lot of effort and physical and mental work, very challenging experience.

A very strong hike but with a spectacular route and the prize of reaching Ciudad Perdida is worth the effort. A life experience.
