Due to ongoing road repairs leading to Finca El Ocaso, the vehicle will drop you off near the main entrance. From there, you will need to take a short walk. At the end of the tour, the vehicle will be waiting for you at the same spot.

    As a starting point, you will hear the story of the Coffee Region, and understand its development and culture which went hand in hand with the coffee growing economy. Get ready to discover the step by step agricultural process a coffee seed goes through until it produces high-quality coffee beans. Going on a trail surrounded by diverse plants, birds, and clean water, you will understand how this special ecosystem provides great conditions for coffee farming. After, you will get to know the delicate selection process and treatment that follows the hand-made harvest. Finally, you will immerse into the aroma produced by different types of coffee roasting and grounding with the help of knowledgeable coffee tasters. They will guide you through a coffee tasting experience where you will learn how to recognize special flavors present in Colombian Coffee. Also, you will notice how different flavors manifest in accordance with different preparation methods.

Very informative tour. Nicholas, the guide, has a big knowledge, it was fun, too. I highly recommend this tour at Finca el Ocaso.

The beginning was a little rough as our ride was 30 mins late due to a mishap but they were very apologetic and got us to the coffee farm as soon as they could. Nicholas was our tour guide and he was amazing and so knowledgeable about the whole coffee process. It is crazy to see how it goes from farm to your cup. The taste the different flavors of coffee. It was a great experience!

It was a very nice tour. The guide was very funny, knowledgeable and really taught about coffee. It was worth the price and included transportation, coffee picking, preparation and tasting. I left appreciating coffee and it's cultivation. Highly recommend
