The Lost City Trek Colombia is one of the Colombian highlights for backpackers and outdoor lovers and travelers' top choices. This ​tour is operated in collaboration with Sierra Nevada native communities, so you will support the local economy while enjoying this amazing hike. At Howlanders we are travelers as you do, so we really know how to make the most of this experience: good guides, a good atmosphere, good vibes, and fellow travelers, so we all together enjoy it to the fullest. Be aware that this tour is not demanding when thinking about altitude or distances, but the conditions of the jungle make it a little harder. This effort is worthy and you will experience it once you get to the Lost City, which has remained virtually untouched for centuries.

  • This trek is rated medium-high difficulty due to the climatic conditions in which it is done (heat and humidity) and the total number of hours you will walk each day (an average of 6h/day through the jungle and the nights are spent in camps).
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

What an experience!! Our group was fantastic, a lot of moral support in the most difficult times and a lot of encouragement!! The hike, the view, the scenery, the wildlife… Wow amazing!!! Some of us had already done Machu Pucchu, in Peru and confirmed to us that the Lost city hike was much more demanding hihi The guides… what to say other than… the best guides!!! We had Pedro, Jessica and Adel, our translator, and the Cooks, an incredible team. The food and sleep camps reminded me of my childhood. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!!!
