This tour is more than just facts and dates. Your guide will take you back to the Wild West with true stories about the outlaws, lynch mobs, and madams who lived and died in Golden, and who is still lingering around today. Your uniquely Golden experience will include some of the most iconic locations and drinks in town. We'll tell stories, share some history, search for spirits, and have a hauntingly good time.

Miner's Alley, Golden, CO 80401, USA This tour ends in Miner's Alley where we can choose between a couple of bars to finish the tour. It's a few blocks from the starting location, so we recommend parking in Downtown Golden at one of the parking garages.

    The City of Golden was the seat of the Colorado Gold Rush and at the forefront of the Wild West, and we have our share of spirits still lingering around to prove it. Your tour guide will tell you the stories of these restless souls as you traverse the town at night, starting from historic Goosetown Station. You'll walk into town through the ghostly parks along Clear Creek then up Washington Avenue for a mid-cap. The second half of the tour will take you up 12th Street, Golden's old white-collar district, and ends in the back yard of the Astor House where you can choose one last stop for a night-cap.

Disappointing. The tour was light on ghost stories and heavy on complicated & difficult to follow narratives of early criminals. Several stories were gory but not particularly scary or interesting. Wouldn’t recommend.

Great tour learning about the history of Golden and the surrounding areas. Johnathan was a great tour guide. It was a fun experience!

Booked a Ghosts & Spirits Tour for my partner's birthday and had a great time with Jonathan. I've lived and worked in the area long enough to have heard *some* of the stories, but it's a way cooler experience when a good storyteller can bring it to life for you in the place it happened. I also loved the history focus of the tour, where you're basically learning about the real spooky stories of Golden's past, with some ghosts thrown in for good measure. The price is $42 in July 2025. This includes your first drink so depending on your drink of choice the tour itself is about $30 which is incredibly reasonable for two and a half hours of storytelling. I would go again and recommend for those visiting or living here alike!
