    The next stop on the itinerary is the majestic view from the top of Pikes Peak. This peak was also known as Sun Mountain by the Ute people and El Capitan by Spanish explorers, but it was later named after the explorer Zebulon Pike. It is also known as America’s Mountain because the magnificent vista at the top inspired the lyrics of “America, the Beautiful.” The mountain stands at 14,115 feet and is the tallest mountain in the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. As you stand at the summit, you will have a beautiful view of Colorado Springs and the rest of the Rocky Mountain range. With the right conditions, you will see for miles, enjoying all the natural beauty.

Great trip and experience. Mark was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended. We were able to get to go all the way to the top of Pikes Peak. Lots of great stops and loved the Garden of the Gods.

This tour meets downtown denver, right near union station . The driver was on time very personable and greeted us all individually with a warm manner. He was polite, friendly and gave great information about the city on our way up to Pikes Peak .and the Garden on the gods. He provided us with lunch and water and was available to take pictures if he needed we him to do so. His name was Mark. He was a great guide.

I was in Denver for a conference but flew out a day early to see some of the sights. This was the first tour that I have ever taken with a tour company and I was glad that I did. Brian was our guide and he provided some history and facts about the area without being overbearing. When we were at a stop, he was clear about logistics, e.g., what to look for, where the bathrooms were, what time to be back in the van and where the van would be. Although the itinerary was to go to Garden of the Gods first, he decided to take us to Pikes Peak first b/c the weather there was going to be rainy in the afternoon. We enjoyed sun the entire time we were at the summit. It rained lightly while we were at Garden of the Gods and we could see that Pikes Peak was gray and cloudy by then. I would recommend this tour and this company.
