The booking fee includes the costs of booking your tickets such as charges for payment processing. It also covers the provision of our customer care center for processing your order, and all charges imposed by our suppliers.

Please avoid bringing large bags or backpacks. There are no storage facilities in Colosseum . Any kind of spray bottles and glass items are not allowed in side the colosseum

This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Too much talking on this tour -not enough sightseeing. For a 60 minute tour 45 minutes of it was talking.

There's no doubt about it, the Colosseum is phenomenal, as is the demand to see it, so...take my advice and book tickets from the official website well in advance and avoid companies like MCT.
Why avoid MCT?
We didn't book tickets in advance and so walked all the way down to the Colosseum from our hotel in the hope of being able to join a tour such as the one MCT offers.
When we got close to the Colloseum we were approached by a representative of MCT standing outside the Cafe Roma (29 Via del Colloso), who asked us if we wanted to joint their tour - we agreed and were then told the tour was departing at 11.30am, i.e. one hour later.
We waited in the sweltering sunshine and heat for an hour on the understanding and in the belief that we were "on the tour". As 11.30am approached, a different company employee who introduced himself as the "manager" told us they didn't have any tickets left and we could not join their tour.
I explained to the "manager" that his colleague - who originally approached us - confirmed they had tickets and also confirmed they had put our names o the list. The original employee even confirmed it to the "manager", but he simply shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
MCT's modus operandi is clear - they over commit to customers like us to ensure their full allocation of tickets is sold, whilst giving scant regard to the inconvenience this puts visitors to, or the lasting impression this gives.
Based on our experience last Friday (23/6/23), I recommend you give this company a miss.
We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours. Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
