We spend 2 hours walking around Prague, seeing iconic places and learning about recent history of former Czechoslovakia during the Cold War period. Then we enjoy 30-mins break for a lunch or Kofola drink in an authentic working-class canteen from 70s (optional). Finally we visit a Nuclear bunker, which evoke the paranoia of the 1950's. The bunker admission fee 250CZK (10 EUR) is included in the price. We like dialogue, so the group size is limited up to 15 people. Not only will you discover how the average Czech lived, worked and played under communism, but you will also hear stories and anecdotes from your local guide, who will bring the old days back to life!  You will also see historical photos of the events, people, buildings and statues, many of them now destroyed.

Clara gave us a very informative trip. Loved her passion for history and sharing her personal perspective. Seeing the elaborate bunker was very interesting. I would recommend the tour and liked the small size.

We had a great day doing the communism tour with Klara, covering a good mix of sights both cultural and historical. I had studied the period before but my partner was new to the topic and Klara was able to respond perfectly to our different needs. Listening to stories or Klara and her own family were invaluable in understanding how this period touched the lives of those who lived through it. Klara was knowledgable and had a great sense of humour, we had a blast!
