Bates our tour guide, taking us for light refreshments at his home. The kai was wonderful and filling. As well as Avana beach where the 7 vakas left for Aoteroa.

Fantastic introduction to get an understanding of the history of the island. We got to ask heaps of questions and our guide had an extensive knowledge to answer everything - and a good sense of humour! Thoroughly enjoyed our time.

The Aitutaki Day Tour through Air Rarotonga which included The Vaka Cruise were absolutely amazing and they were a wonderful birthday gift towards myself!! Paul the guide who works for The Vaka Cruise was wonderful and was in great spirits. He was hilarious! The buffet on The Vaka Cruise was delicious and the flights with Air Rarotonga between Rarotonga and Aitutaki were comfortable. The customer service was very polite indeed. Aitutaki’s beauty of course has to be seen to be believed! My bestie was supposed to accompany me on this trip to the Cook Islands in general but she missed out so oh well! Hopefully we’ll both return together again to the Cook Islands within the next two years!
