Loved this had such an amazing experience. Was a bit nervous to start but once I got the hang of the sea scooter was so much fun. Even though the water wasn’t that clear we saw loads of turtles, fish and starfish. The tour operators were very safety conscious making sure everyone was ok all the time. Would do this tour again.

Very well organized and fun group of instructors, safety personnel, equipment personnel and guides. Top credit for all those involved. Using the scooters was easy and lots of fun. The only negative was with the tides, either going out/or coming in it creates a lot of cloudiness in the water, which limits the distance you can see, the visibility/colours seen, both of the turtles and coral (nothing like the pictures shown in the brochures). Even with the scooters, moving against the tidal motion was slow and difficult.

A novel, fun and stress-free way to explore the reef and passage and swim with turtles. The guides were knowledgeable and informative and prioritised the safety of the group with the opportunity to swim with turtles in a relaxed environment. The day we went out there were multiple other groups (from different providers) out at the same time (over 200 people in the water), so many of the turtles had moved on, but we still saw 10-15.
This tour in Cook Islands is organized by Ariki Adventures
