Discover and explore the mountains of the sierra where we will find the spectacular Magical Copalitilla waterfalls, at approximately 1:30 hours we will arrive at a fascinating place within the jungle where we will find beautiful pools of crystalline waters and waterfalls ideal for swimming, taking photos and contemplate nature. During the tour there will be a stop to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, we will have a brief explanation on the subject of coffee and we will learn about the healing properties of medicinal plants and products made with medicinal plants by the community. We will have time to eat the delicious typical regional food of mole with chicken accompanied by pot beans and tortillas made by hand by community cooks (Food not included in the tour)

    During the visit to Huatulco a recommended activity is the tour of the Magical waterfalls of Copalitilla, in this activity we go aboard an air-conditioned vehicle to the mountains at approximately 1:30 hours to reach the community and take a walk inside from the jungle until we reach the spectacular waterfalls and pools of crystal clear waters we will have time to enjoy the place, swim, take photos and contemplate nature.

Even though April is the driest month there was plenty of cool, refreshing water at the falls. Our guide Edgar Escobar was excellent!! Perfect English and so knowledgeable about the falls, the local residents, the flowers and fruit trees. He guided our small group of 5 safely thru the 4 tiers of the falls. I’m 66yo and felt confident as Edgar advised me where to put my foot each step thru the tricky spots. We stopped along the way at an open market where there was coffee, Mezcal and trinkets for the grandchildren. Bring your pesos for that. Bring your own water. There are beverages for sale and food for sale (optional for the group) at the end of the tour. We’ll worth it!! Ask for Edgar.

Amazing day with our guide Edgar! The Falls are beautiful and a great way to spend the day relaxing in the cool waters. Edgar was a great host and ambassador for the local communities where we stopped to try local mezcal and other hand made products. After the Falls, we had an amazing traditional Mexican meal. It was delicious! Worth noting, the company went out of their way to find us an English speaking tour guide. They went above and beyond.
