This was a really fun, interesting walking tour. Amalie, our guide, was great. So friendly and welcoming. I was in a small group (10 people, maybe) of like-minded, friendly, chatty travelers. Amalie had great stories and historical notes about everything we saw, some of which were things I may not ever have seen on my own (or even known about). She happily answered all questions (as long as they weren't about birds or trees!). Plus there were amazing pastries and treats along the way! I would recommend wearing good walking shoes. Lots of cobblestones! Highly recommend!

Our guide Kim was perfect for this tour. Just the right blend of history with local color. We started out in the pouring rain but it didn't stop the tour. If the weather looks like rain - bring umbrellas! We made several stops for delicious Danish treats and coffee. A long tour for walking and covers a lot of ground so wear comfy shoes. The best part of the tour was learning about the culture of Hygge and hearing how it is celebrated by the Danes.

This was a wonderful tour for my first day in Copenhagen. You get oriented to the city on the tour, and you learn a lot about hygge and what it means to Danish culture. You see some places you would never see on your own, and you get the benefit of having the wonderful Amalie as your host to answer questions, give advice for things to see, and generally be a welcoming face to the city. Highly recommended!
