This was a good ice breaker for someone that never done a cruise. Too bad the time onshore was short and weather did not help.

Overall was please with the experience. It was my first over night cruise. Definitely recommend a room upgrade in advance as they were sold out by the time I boarded. I had my own cabin but was very minimal, just a place to sleep. It did have It's own bathroom but was the smallest shower I've ever seen. Basically just a curtinin the corner of the bathroom. The cabin only had one 220v outlet in the entire room. I had medical equipment to plug in as well as charging my phone so it was a bit tricky. They do not sell dramamine on board, bring your own if there is even a chance you could get sick. Credit cards were accepted on the boat and in Oslo, so no currency exchange was needed but there are machines on the boat. There were many children everywhere, to include the bar areas running wild with little supervision, which was not my cup of tea. In the end, I would take this trip again but with a room up grade.

Promised with a luxury sea view room but provided with a room in Deck 2, there was no soap solution in the bath/handwash
