Experience traditional Fijian cultural traditions in a magical island setting! Start your tour with a 30-minute calm water jungle cruise followed by a spirited welcome by our Robinson Crusoe Island crew. On the island, you can take part in a range of cultural activities including weaving demonstrations and the unearthing of the “lovo” earth oven. Along with a thrilling fire walking demonstration, your lunch will be taken out of the Lovo and served buffet style with garden salads, local root crop vegetables, chicken, and fish. During lunch, you will be entertained with a Fijian culture dance show featuring Fiji’s best fire & knife dancers. Spend the afternoon relaxing with a massage or swim in our pristine lagoon. Enjoy a coconut climbing demonstration and take part in the Island’s famous hermit crab racing! We booked this day trip as this was the only option we had considering the days (only some days in the week) when this tour is operated. The tour bus picked us up. The bus was very good. Then we got transferred to a boat to the island. I would say that I feel that the boat is quite small and could be a bumpy ride in rough sea. In Australia, evry passenger would be fitted with a life vest. But not here. I felt a little unsafe in that boat. However, the trip went without any incident. Thanks to all the host and freindly staff. Some people went for snorkelling in deep sea in another boat. Others stayed back to experience the coconut lessons. The snorkelling in the beach is also a good experience. The lunch is average. The entertainment is what one can expect in such a pacific island. It isn't too bad for a day outing.
