The tour is a self-guided tour with a GUIDEBOOK, which is included in your ticket price. You can also rent an audio guide at €2 extra per person. Both of these are available in a number of different languages. Family Ticket (2 Adults and up to 4 Children) can be purchased on arrival at the Gaol.

It is a great place to visit. Please take the audio guide; it provides an excellent background and atmosphere for the tour.

Very well presented with exhibits, models, written tour guide and video presentations. Very sad stories to be learned.Pleasant and helpful staff. Be warned if you are walking from City Centre it is up a long steep hill!

This was really interesting. It was reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend the headset. No time limit take your time walking around and taking pictures. I'd like to see some tables and chairs set out so you can sit down with a coffee ☕️
