A wonderful and well organized tour to Tortugero. Everything lived up to our expectations. Our very experienced guide Ray S. was very good and knew a lot about the flora and fauna we saw.

Worry free connections/transportation via bus (hotel pickup) & boat transfers to an extremely remote location full of nature! Expect to see wide array of tropical birds, different species of monkeys, caymans, sloths, coconut crabs and an abundance of tropical plants and flowers! Pachira and Aninga Lodge were absolutely impeccable with attentive service and would highly recommend a peaceful nights sleep in the jungle as close to nature as possible!

All-round carefree package: The journey itself is an adventure, you are always accompanied by guides who explain. Everything is very well organized. The accommodations vary, we stayed at Pachira Lodge and very satisfied! Nice large room with veranda surrounded by plants and much visited by animals. Delicious food, lots of wonderful activities on water and on land. Only the “Nature Walk” in the hotel’s own forest is not a real walk, rather a circular route, which you have run in 5 minutes on concrete trail. Tortuguero was a highlight of our trip, we would come back anytime, including at the Pachira Lodge.
