The tour stars at 8:00 am. After the pick up, the hike begins at the Arenal Observatory Lodge , walking approximately for 2 hours on flat trails through primary and secondary rainforest in natural open areas. Then, you will cross two hanging bridges and visit Rio Danta Waterfall where you can swim and relax in it's refreshing water.There is a possibility to see monkeys, parrots ,racoons, oropendolas , frogs and some other wildlife. Our guide will explain you interesting facts and stories about the Arenal Volcano and biodiversity you can enjoy an amazing viewpoint to see the Volcano. After this experience we will drive you to natural hot springs to relax for about one hour. Taking you back to the hotel about 1:30pm or before. We arrange pick ups ONLY in the Hotels of La Fortuna Area. The drive from the hotels to the tour place is about 20 to 30 minutes. Our driver will wait only for 5 minutes. The pick up times can vary depending of the hotel. Customers must be ready at the lobby.

    The route is direct, we organize the pick ups in the hotels of la Fortuna Area only. In case costumers are staying in a airbnb we can pick them up in the nearest Hotel entrance. The pick ups in the hotels are all the time at the lobby. Please be ready 5 minutes before the pick up time established. The tour stars at 8:00 am.   • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Nothing. Not as advertised. Did not go to an observatory deck as pictured in the offering. Took us on a trail that was not suitable for seniors. Two ladies had to turn back with new guide. No way they could navigate this trail without injury. Guides barely explained anything. Requested a refund that was declined. False advertising. Crappy tour guides.

Lovely place to stay, at the foot of Arenal. We stayed for 2 day, but it was cloudy and rainy...never saw the top of the Volcano, but the guided morning walk, made up for it. A lot more than just the Volcano and we really enjoyed our stay.

We did the full day tour with Jason and I wish I could give it 6 stars! Jason speaks English very well, makes the whole experience so much fun with lots of laughs, and is incredibly knowledgeable! He surprised us with some excursions too that we didn't know were included and kept everyone entertained. Highly recommend asking for him and doing this tour with him! We are now friends on social media and I hope to keep in touch as he didn't just become my guide, but also my friend!! Pura Vida Mae!!!
