We got delayed on our drive by 45 minutes due to construction (note that Google maps doesn't show traffic delays in areas that have no coverage). Ronnie got us scheduled with a different company so that we didn't have to come back the next day. The lava trail is neat but make sure to wear good hiking shoes. Parts of the trail were just gravel but there were some steep blocks to climb up also. Wish we had more time to spend at the Hot Springs!
