We are the first academy in Tamarindo where we teach in a holistic way what it's necessary to progress and how to do that with certified Instructors. Understanding the needs of our clients to become surfers, given our experience, and teach parameters that will be established for the different classes to be given, showing all possible variables. From a holistic point of view of what it is necessary to learn, what are the real needs of the client to face their surfing future in the best way.

This is our second year joining Leandro, Juan, Kitty & Sebas at Club 33 for surfing lessons. (We also had a couple friends and relatives to join us for the week of lessons.). Just as it was last year, our collective experience was phenomenal. This isnt a “surf instructor” who just pushes you into waves and yells “get up!”, like so many others in Tamarindo. Leandro and the team walk through the theory, science, body movement that make surfing what it is before going into the water so your understanding, confidence and comfort level are where you want them to be before getting wet. It’s a subtle difference, but an important one. My 9 year old daughter, myself and my wife (both in mid-40s) were excited to go every day because each day built upon the last—in terms of lessons and skill development. On top of this, the team is so nice and so welcoming—it really is the best place to learn how to surf or develop your pre-existing skills/knowledge.
