This class III and class IV rapids cover about eighteen miles some of the most breathtaking scenery in all of Costa Rica. You will enjoy the thrill of the rapids, as well as the natural beauty that surrounds the river such as  variety of waterfalls and tropical flora and fauna. We provide experienced, specialized rafting guides, top of the line equipment, and a full day of safe and exciting adventures on this river The tour commences near the town of Tres Equis; an hour East of Turrialba.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We had an amazing time on our 2 day rafting adventure on the Pacuare river! Definitely a recommendation to do the 2 day experience. The guides are amazing and make sure everything goes safely. The food during lunch/dinner/breakfast was also great. Big up to José Luiz and the rest of the guides for providing us with an amazing time and unforgettable experience. 12/10 would recommend! We had a grand time rafting the Rio Pacuare. It was a highlight of our trip already packed with much goodness. Our experience was enhanced by our wonderful guides, Eduardo and Jose Luis, who took care of us with great professionalism, taught us how to go safely go down the rapids, prepared us a lovely meal and kept us entertained the whole way. Memorable. I highly recommend Explornatura for a phenomenal experience!
