In this day tour you will be able to enjoy beautiful views from the Irazu Volcano National Park, Orosi Valley and explore Cartago City. Irazu is an active strato volcano with an irregular subconical shape. It towers 3,432 meters above sea level and spreads over 500 square kilometers, which makes it the largest volcano in Costa Rica.

  • Santuario Nacional Nuestra Senora de Los Angeles, Cartago, Costa Rica
    At around 11:30am, you will visit Cartago City's main attractions including the Los Angeles Basilica.

  • Irazu Volcano National Park, Costa Rica
    You will be picked up from your hotel in San Jose between 7 and 7:30am. You will then travel 12 miles Eeast through the Panamerican Higway to Cartago province. At 9:30am you will arrive at Irazu Volcano National Park for a short walk to the main craters, enjoying great panoramic views of the Caribbean and Central Valley. A tour guide will explain all important facts about history, activities, vegetation and wildlife

  • Orosi River Valley, Orosi, Costa Rica
    At 12:15pm you will continue to the wonderful Orosi Coffee Valley, stop at a viewpoint for beautiful pictures of the region and proceed to a restaurant for a great lunch. Lunch will be served at 1:15pm at a Local Restaurant. Afterwards, you will be taken back to your hotel in San Jose, arriving at approximately 3pm.

Josè the tour guide was excellent. Always offered to take my picture and always prioritized showing me the best views. Safe driver, knowledgeable, and good English. Could not recommend any more highly! ????

Excelente nuestra guía francini. Sabía mucho de la historia y geografía del país. Muy amable y al tanto de todo. El recorrido no fue cansón y las vistas muy bonitas.
