    This Rafting/Zip package is designed for extreme thrills! Consists of the 7 most extreme zip line cables of the park. Begin the tour with an adrenaline-filled climb up a 18-meter high tower (54 feet) to fly over a 120 meter (360 feet) high canyon - the highest place in the park. You will cross a hanging bridge to our longest cable – 980 meters (0.6 miles) high above la Fortuna Waterfall with great views of downtown city. Finally, you will glide across the cables at high speeds of up to 70 km/hr (43MPH). This was the best experince out of all the activities we signed up for in Costa Rica! Our rafting guide , Axel, was the best. Super experienced and fun. The rapids were extremely fun! They provided multiple snacks, granola bars and fruit, in addition to the lunch.

This is probably the best day of the whole trip! We were picked up at our hotel and brought over to the Zipline park. We were able to do seven zip lines total. The staff was so incredibly nice and helpful. And we were a small group of six, so that was really nice. I will admit that I got to the top of the first zip line not realizing how high it would be, and had some second thoughts! Jeffrey, the tour guide, immediately saw this, and he took me down the first two zip lines! After that, I felt totally comfortable to go on my own. One, plus of going on the zip line with Jeffrey is that he actually found a whole video of us going down, which was very cool! We were all sad when it ended. It was they truly amazing experience. At this point, we had time to change into clothes for white water rafting. We had bought water seekers for this part of the trip. A bus took us back downtown to the wave rafting center and we boarded a different bus to travel to the river. They gave us snack bags here with water, granola bars, and nuts. On this bus, we had a fantastic tour guide Axel!! Who gave us lots of details about what to expect on the river. As a family of four, we had the raft to ourselves with the tour guide Tonio. He was so knowledgeable about the river! He pointed out different birds and sloths in the trees. It was my self, my husband, and my 14 and 15 year old sons in the raft. So our raft had to work a little harder than some of the others! The rapids were awesome! We definitely got splashed at some bumps along the way. But we all managed to stay in! There were two spots along the river where we were able to jump out and swim. About halfway through we all pulled over to the side and all of the tour guides cut open pineapples and watermelon as a snack. If it is your first time trying rafting. This is a perfect option for you. At the end, we had time to change, and then boarded the bus for a delicious buffet lunch. It is a very long day! We were picked up at our hotel at seven and we returned at 4:30. He also paid for the picture packages for both events. It was about $40 each. And they email you the pictures. On zip lining, I wore my fanny pack and have my cell phone with me so I was able to take some pictures on my own. I did not do this for a white water rafting. Even though we have a waterproof case, I felt like that was a little too risky.

Logistics went perfectly and communication was accurate and responsive. We loved Cristopher, our water rafting guide, who was fun and enthusiastic and went the extra mile to make it fun for the kids, including extra spins on the water
