The area is beautiful, the story fascinating. Unfortunately, it seemed our guide was distinctly uninterested in the group.

Our first tour with Canoa Aventura was to hike Arenal 1968. Arenal 1968 are trails at the base of Volcano Arenal. We had a great tour guide and saw a good deal of plants and wildlife. Our guide would point things out that we would have otherwise overlooked like the Mimosa Fern (youtube it - so cool). The leaf ants were all over the place and fun to watch. It was a great way to start our Costa Rica vacation. Actual pictures from our trip to Arenal 1968 included.

Very fun tour. Yeudy was very knowledgeable about our surroundings and the nature we saw on the path. Great to reach the lookout point around sunset as well
