What a great trip, we had our own private excursion, Daniel was our guide who was so knowledgeable of the land and the people and Max was the driver- very courteous and kind. Beautiful water falls , clean and respected. We had Walter as our guide for the rain forest- such an eye for detail and great photographer. Amazing lunch in a local restaurant and cocoa and coffee tour with Richard was informative and delightful. Thanks to Roberto for the extra attention and service!

The best thing was the guide/driver who drove me around that day. Oliver was very nice, upbeat and very accomadating. He did everything to provide the clients with a good tour. Unfortunately the tour was not what I was expecting. 11 hours with 7 of that in a mini van does not appeal to me. The 2 hour nature tour was terrible. For one it rained (cannot help mother nature) but the local guide did not speak any english and knew very little. She wasn't very good at locating and spotting the wildlife they were promoting at this place. THis was followed by a very nice coffee/chocolate tour which wasn't even advertised in the tour details. I came to Costa Rica to see and photograph wildlife especially birds. This tour was terrible for this.

Alan was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and made sure everyone got great pictures of the wildlife.
