    Born from the river that carries the same name, this cascade shares its boundaries with the Arenal-Monteverde protected area, housing a wealth of wildlife and becoming very important for the conservation of tributaries that feed drinking water to surrounding towns. The guide will accompany you and show you the most important details of this rich area, where you will have the option of watching the beautiful waterfall from the viewpoint or walking about 300 meters on a very steep but safe pathway and getting very close to it. They are allowed to swim in the river, but not near the waterfall. It will be difficult to forget.

Jacamar has the best guides. We used them for several tours. We loved our experience with them and would use them again.

Heido was our private guide for the two hour tour and we had a great time with him. He told us alot of great history during the walk up and down, and made sure to take it at our speed. The water at the bottom was very strong due to the high rain at that time, but we still swam and had fun in the little river around the corner from the waterfall.

Der Wasserfall an sich ist sehr schön, allerdings sehr touristisch, für uns waren es zu viele Personen. Für 3 Personen haben wir 54USD für Eintritt gezahlt, für uns nicht gerechtfertigt. Ist schön aber nicht was man unbedingt machen muss!
