Full day of Adventure and unique activities, it starts from when we pick you up at your hotel and take you to have a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast, we take you to the banks of the majestic Rio Pacuare where the professional guides will help you to put on your safety equipment, and they give a safety talk about white water activity and instructions on how to row and work as a team. Begin your adventure going into the heart of the tropical jungle navigating this incredible river in the middle of this majestic tropical jungle, we have the opportunity to see wild animals such as river otters, Toucans, frogs with bright colors Morpho butterflies. We make a stop at a river beach where we will have lunch.After lunch we continue traveling the river until we reach our final point where our transport awaits us with our dry clothes, we return to their hotels in San José.

Pick up at the main hotels in downtown San Jose. Exceptions can be made, please communicate to the company, the name of the hotel in which they are staying to verify if they are picked up at that hotel.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

My Viator ticket specified a 5am start time with pickup from my hotel. Eventually, at 07:15, after waiting outside the hotel for two and a quarter hours, a private car turned up to take me join the rest of the group (the bus driver had forgotten me). In terms of the rafting, our guide, Carlos was really excellent and we all had a great time even though we were decending down grade 3&4 rapids, which wasn’t mentioned in the description (I wouldn’t have booked if I had known as I’m not a strong swimmer). On our way back to San Jose, the bus driver made a 45 minute detour to drop off a member of staff. The round trip was over 13 hours. This travel company appears to place no value on your time. Avoid!

¡El rafting en el Río Pacuare fue maravillosamente increíble! Los guías y kayakistas son de otro nivel: expertos, divertidos y siempre cuidando nuestra seguridad. El paisaje… simplemente mágico: cañones, cascadas y selva pura. Lo único que no estuvo a la altura fue el desayuno, dejó muuuucho que desear... empezando por el café y un gallo pinto con 3 frijoles, un desayuno muy pobre y de mala calidad. El resto de la experiencia fue tan espectacular que ¡volvería sin pensarlo dos veces! 100% recomendado...

Sencillamente espectacular. Desde la recogida hasta la entrega. Una experiencia inolvidable. Estuvimos todo el día con Jonathan, un auténtico crack. Nos recogió prontito junto a Steven, y nos llevaron a desayunar en un sitio privilegiado, en el complejo deportivo El Varón. Después hicimos el descenso por el río Pacuare. Paradita para coger fuerzas y finalizar en el cauce bajo del río. Mil gracias por regalarnos un día tan especial. Si volvemos a Costa Rica, no dudaremos en volver hacerlo. Recomendable 100%.
