We were hoping to get in some snorkeling but the visibility was very poor. That was due to the high winds for the past month that the area has been experiencing. The kayaking is normally very calm and easy but with the surf it made it challenging for some.

We really enjoyed our kayak and snorkeling tour. The guides were helpful and knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. One of the guides even took extra time with one of our group who wasn’t an avid swimmer and she was able to snorkel for the first time. Amazing experience and highly recommend Samara adventures

A very enjoyable excursion out to Chora island. 25 minute kayaking out to the island. Not at all strenuous, just nice easy pace. The beach has so many little hermit crabs, and there are iguanas, birds and sometimes howler monkeys. A nice break with drinks and fresh pineapple, then the snorkeling. I didn’t think we’d see much, as it’s rainy season and in other resorts I’ve snorkeled at this time of year, the water wasn’t clear enough. However, we were rewarded with lots of fish, eels and a starfish. Stephen took great care of us and made it a fun day. Gentle kayak back to the mainland
