The best surfing teacher ever! They really did a great job teaching us proper safety and technique before getting in the ocean. He really allowed us to feel comfortable in the learning process which I think is super important. My husband and I got up on our second attempt. Highly recommend!

Had a Great time! Rafael was an excellent instructor. He stayed with me in the water and guided me when to stand on my board at the perfect time. I caught my first wave at 50!

Ibi (the girl manning the shop) was awesome. Selection of apparel is limited if you want a souvenir from this place. We also took couple’s surf lessons through this shop and were unfortunately less than thrilled. The photos that Ibi took were great, but the instructor kept getting frustrated with me because I didn’t know how to “steer” the board during the lesson (I don’t know how to surf — that’s why I’m taking the lesson!!!) and we ended the lesson early because of it. He kept sighing, acting all exasperated, and spoke to me in an abrasive and scolding tone. Uhhhh, don’t accept newbie lessons if you don’t want to teach newbies dude!!! You might be better off going somewhere else to learn. Ibi is this place’s only saving grace!!!
