I went on this night hike with my husband, brother and my 14 year old son. We drove ourselves there (versus getting a ride with Ecoterra) because we were staying not too far from the site. We got there a little early and the best part of the the tour was talking with the property owner and looking at the beautiful flora beyond the terrace and the birds. The walk was okay but overpriced for what it was. We saw a few interesting things, but it was a very short walk and the guide, although very nice, seemed like she had learned a routine for the walk and otherwise did not have a lot of knowledge about local flora and fauna. The meal was okay - I had been in country for about 3 weeks before doing this tour and had had much better 'typical' cost rican meals. The grounds were supported by misters, so it all felt a little fake. In fairness, I had done an amazing night hike the week before at Rainmaker north of Manuel Antonio, so may have been more wowed by this one if I hadn't done that one recently.
