 Discover one of the hidden mysteries of Costa Rica tucked next to the TENORIO´S VOLCANO. Here we will hike through the beautiful rainforest. Along the way, we will visit the BLUE LAGOON and LOS TEÑIDEROS, a place where two streams with different minerals and chemical composition meet and change color to a heavenly turquoise blue. At the last stop we will enjoy the magnificent RIO CELESTE WATERFALL. We also will stop at our beautiful spot to swim on the river, relax, share and to have a delicious costarican lunch.

    We will visit Tenorios Volcano National Park, inside we will see Rio Celeste Waterfall, Los Teñideros, Los Borbollones and a nice view of tropical rainforest. After national park we stop at an ancient tree for a picture to continue to Don Alexis Farm. Once in the farm we will have time to get into the river and swim on turquoise water, relax on a hammock and have a delicious lunch.

This was an excellent day, our guide/driver Mario was great and very knowledgeable and really made the day for us. The national park is very pretty with Mario on hand for nature spotting and general questions. Lunch was really nice and a good portion with a drink that was really refreshing. The swimming after was wonderful, we got to relax and enjoy the waters with no time pressure. Just a lovely day

The color of the River is actually as blue as on the photos shown. Our tour guide was really great. Kenia picked us up on time, drove safely, showed us loads of animals and kept the group together. She was really friendly and made this tour an amazing experience. I loved the local food at lunchtime and the swim in the lagoon at the end was so refreshing. I can really recommend this tour.
