    Bibury - “the most beautiful village in England” On arriving into Bibury you may think you have been transported back to a different age. The village was once described by the British poet, artist and novelist William Morris (1834-96) as “the most beautiful village in England”. Bibury’s attractions includes Arlington Row, a 17th century row of weavers cottages built of local stone next to the River Coln. It is one of the most photographed areas in the region and was chosen as a location for the 2007 film ‘Stardust’. Close by you will find the Bibury Trout Farm and a Saxon Church. The River Coln flows between the main village street and a watermeadow: together with Alrington Row as a backdrop, it makes one of the most picuresque scenes you will find in the Cotswolds. Choose to visit Burford’s numerous small shops offering Cotswolds cheese, quality meats, freshly made cakes, antiques and books.

    Regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in England, Bourton-on -the-Water has a unique appeal to visitors and residents alike. Known as the Venice of the Cotswolds, this one village offers a wealth of attractions and shops, restaurants and tea rooms, or simply the space for you to enjoy some tranquil time by the River Windrush, spanned by its five arched bridges. Bourton-on-the-Water’s most prized feature is its tranquil river. Fed from many springs, its source is approximately ten miles from the village, and even in the 1976 drought the flow continued. Where the river enters the village centre, over the rapids next to the Old Mill, its clear waters flow under a miscellany of arched stone bridges past the green with its banks of Cotswold stone.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Cotswolds small group tour – special thanks to Ana & Sorin! Today we joined the Cotswolds Small Group Tour from London with Evan Evans Tours, and it was honestly one of the best day trips we’ve done in the UK. We visited some truly beautiful villages including Bibury, Burton-on-the-Water, and Burford, and every place was like a postcard. The scenery, the peaceful countryside, and the charming stone houses were absolutely unforgettable. From the beginning of the trip everything was very well organised. The timing was perfect and we had enough time to enjoy each village, walk around, take photos, and relax. It never felt rushed but also never felt like we were wasting time. The whole day was smooth and enjoyable. I want to give a special thank you to our guide Ana and our driver Sorin because they made this experience even better. ???? Ana was truly wonderful. She was kind, friendly, and very supportive throughout the day. She explained everything clearly on the way, sharing interesting information about the villages, the history, and the area. The way she speaks is lovely and easy to understand, and she always made sure everyone was comfortable and happy. Also, I had a small problem today because I didn’t bring any cash, and at one point the toilet needed 20p. Ana helped me immediately without hesitation, which I really appreciated. It may seem like a small thing, but it made a big difference and showed how caring she is. She also helped take photos for us and made sure we captured beautiful memories. She is very professional, helpful, and thoughtful. ???? Sorin, our driver, also deserves a lot of praise. He has excellent driving skills and made the whole journey very smooth and safe. The drive was comfortable, and he managed the schedule perfectly so we arrived at each location at the right time. It was clear he is experienced and takes pride in his work. Overall, this tour was really fun, relaxing, and full of amazing views. The villages were stunning and the team was fantastic. I truly enjoyed every moment and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting London who wants to see the real beauty of the English countryside. Thank you again Ana and Sorin for making our trip so memorable! ????

It has been a very good experience with Ana and Gary. Ana the guide that has explained and helped us in what we needed. And Gary, he chauffeured, kind and punctual. Nice to have shared this tour with them.

Our guide, Peter, is very knowledgeable and friendly! Fabulous work by our driver Louton, he was able to get us through the winding streets! I would highly recommend if you want to visit the english countryside without all of the fuss of driving and a wonderful guided tour of the Cotswolds. 5/5
