Players sign up in teams of two to eight. Together they solve a mystery or complete a task at each self-guided stop. Your small-group tour includes fun, drink, and local treats.   • The Amazing Cozumel Race, Quintana Roo, Mexico
    Meet up with your teammates at the hosted starting line on the island of Cozumel where you’ll receive your first clue. (Players sign up in teams of two to eight people; solo players are welcome and will be placed on a team.) Then embark on your 4-hour self-guided tour that combines the best sightseeing with the spirited competition of a scavenger hunt. Solve your first clue with the help of your savvy team and you’re on your way, with each puzzle leading you to another sightseeing location with a new clue. The team that solves all the clues and crosses the finish line in the least amount of time is crowned the winner. You’ll need your wits, energy and sense of adventure as you race against time and competing teams while experiencing all Cozumel has to offer. Along the way, enjoy local goodies and see a side of Cozumel most visitors never see. At the finish line, enjoy some much deserved snacks and two complimentary beverages per participant. Your amazing race tour includes a post-race awards ceremony at a local restaurant for a light snack and refreshing beverages. Wrap up the afternoon with prizes for top finishers while you eat, drink and make merry with other players and exchange stories from the field. A discounted meal is available for purchase during the ceremony (own expense).

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Our group had so much fun! The tour guides were great and it was easy to navigate though the city. It helps if you know some Spanish but you will still be able to get it done without it.

We decided to try something a little different for our shore excursion in Cozumel and The Amazing Race did not disappoint. The starting point was a short distance from the cruise port via taxi. Once we arrived, the staff gave us our race materials, including a map of the city and a phone in case we got lost or needed help. Once the race started, we went from location to location getting clues at each stop, and solving a variety of puzzles to get our next clue. Sometimes we'd have to talk to a local, find a statue, unscramble a word, etc. The locals loved getting involved, and a lot tried to help point us in the direction of what we were trying to find. We ended in a cool restaurant to find out the results (our team pulled out the win). The staff were all super enthusiastic and clearly put a lot of time and effort into planning this out. It was a really cool way to experience the city, a ton of fun, and something I'd definitely recommend.
