The vintage food and port tour was the highlight of our Porto trip. What a great experience day that we spent trying different food and drink in lovely places. Finding all these early on our trip allowed us to return at a later time. We especially loved the market vibe and trying wine and fish (although not part of the day we came back a few times to grab taster plates from different vendors with meats, cheese, olives, bread and fruits as we’d seen them on the day and it all looked delicious alongside a 3 Euro glass of wine). Another highlight was the ‘bifana’ (Piri Piri pork sandwich) at Taxca, however the entire time was fabulous, well planned and unrushed and all the food was delicious. Pedro, our experienced guide, was brilliant at hosting and provided invaluable information on all the food, drink and some history behind it all, as well as some stories about Porto too. He also was able to give us some restaurant recommendations at the end. The experience is completely worth its cost. Just book it, you’ll love it and you’ll love Porto.

What a great tour! We went to several small places that I have never seen in my seven trips to Porto! We ate, drank, got to know each other, and laughed. Ivo was a great tour guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this tour!
