    A visit to the Minoan Palace of Knossos. Knossos is probably the most famous excavation site in Crete and one of the best known in Europe. The Minoan Palace, the home of legendary King Minos, had an estimated 1300-1400 rooms and was excavated and partly reconstructed by Sir Arthur Evans in 1900.

    Journey back to the days of King Minos during a multimedia show featuring 3D video, live dance, and rich costumes, enjoyed alongside traditional Minoan appetizers. Toller Ausflug mit vielen Informationen über das antike Kreta. Heraklion ist wunderbar zum shoppen und mit super Stadtrundgang. Zum Abschluss gab's noch einen kleinen Snack und eine Theateraufführung. Alles in allem ein gelungener Tag

We felt that the guided tour through Knossos was too tough, we would have liked only a short introduction/explanation and then free time for the tour. The time in Heraklion was too short for us due to a delay in Knossos, which is why we skipped the short sightseeing tour and set off directly ourselves. Tavern was great, a very nice place, fine tea, the performance was entertaining and successful. Also you could buy great products in the store. The bus ride was very good, the driver has been calm and level headed. The tour guide told a lot, too much for my taste. But she was very nice.
