* For all the rest areas we will ask you to come to a meeting point.

* If your location is on a street our vehicles can't access, we'll arrange a nearby meeting point for pickup.

    Our first stop is the verdant one and one of the representative villages of Crete, Potamies. We will be guided to a traditional farm where we will see the milking of animals and local activities such as cheese making. There we will taste traditional products such as fresh cheese, olive oil & rakomelo!

  • Aposelemis Dam, Potamies, Greece
    Next stop is the Aposelemis dam, the largest water supply project in Crete. The village of Sfendili is submerged in the waters of the dam with its impressive old houses fading on the surface of the water. Also a natural wetland with a variety of birds.

  • Gorge of Embasa-Virgin Mary, Chersonisos 700 05, Greece
    Then we will start our ascent using dirt roads, we will pass through the gorge Of “Ebassas”. The view of the imposing mountains and the wild beauty of nature will reward you. At the short stop, the guide will collect various local herbs (oregano, thyme, sage) as the Cretans used to do.

Excellent fun day! Highly recommend this experience. If you have back problems wouldn’t recommend as it can get a little rough but great fun. Unfortunately the cave was closed for maintenance but this didn’t ruin the day as they had an alternative activity that was good fun. Great way to see hidden gems

Nous avons passé une magnifique journée en compagnie de notre guide Dimitri. L’expérience de conduite en 4x4 hors des sentiers battus était à la fois dépaysante et divertissante. Nous avons découvert plusieurs sites accompagnés d’explications intéressantes, participé à des activités à la ferme ainsi qu’à un atelier de poterie, et profité d’un délicieux repas typique.
