* Pickup service from the wider areas of Heraklion meeting points, Amoudara, Analipsis - Anissaras, Chersonissos - Piskopiano - Koutouloufari, Elounda, Agios Nikolaos, Gouves - Kokkini Hani, Malia, Sisi, Stalis between 07.45am to 09.00am & drop-off time 4.30pm-5.00pm.
* For all the rest areas we will ask you to come to a meeting point.
* We will inform you of the exact pickup time after your booking.
* If your location is on a street our vehicles can't access, we'll arrange a nearby meeting point for pickup.

  • Potamies, Potamies, Greece
    Our first stop is the verdant one and one of the representative villages of Crete, Potamies. We will be guided to a traditional farm where we will see the milking of animals and local activities such as cheese making. There we will taste traditional products such as fresh cheese, olive oil & rakomelo!

  • Aposelemis Dam, Potamies, Greece
    Next stop is the Aposelemis dam, the largest water supply project in Crete. The village of Sfendili is submerged in the waters of the dam with its impressive old houses fading on the surface of the water. Also a natural wetland with a variety of birds.

  • Gorge of Embasa-Virgin Mary, Chersonisos 700 05, Greece
    Then we will start our ascent using dirt roads, we will pass through the gorge Of “Ebassas”. The view of the imposing mountains and the wild beauty of nature will reward you. At the short stop, the guide will collect various local herbs (oregano, thyme, sage) as the Cretans used to do.

    After that, we'll make a stop at the longest windmill line in Crete, located at the entrance of Lasithi Plateau. Here, we'll have a panoramic photo opportunity and learn about the history of windmills in Crete!

    We proceed to the Lassithi Plateau, where the cave of the god Zeus is located. Whether you choose to visit it or simply relax with a walk or enjoy a coffee in one of the local cafeterias offering a panoramic view of the plateau. (ticket to the cave not included).

Another amazing trip with my 13 year old son, loved the first one so much we went back for a second one. Had another amazing tour guide Vagelis, slightly different to the first trip but just as amazing and more hands on as we got to milk a goat and feed them, try goats cheese and make flour how they would of done in Crete. Great views of the mountains and lovely local places, great food amazing tour guide just an awesome experience. Also went to a pottery and got to make a pot from clay that we took back with us. Thankyou Vagelis for an awesome day

Super leuke tour gehad. Veel gehoord een mooie plaatsen gezien. Verder hebben we heel erg genoten van de spontaniteit van onze gids Michael.
