    We descend to the mouth of the mindboggling Richtis Gorge. We follow an amazing trail within the gorge and we reach the falls of Richtis. Wonderful images that they worth the effort of walking along the trail, which leads to a pebbled beach. The hike is very easy even for young children.

Thanks to our Guide Olivier for a great day, we feasted. Full of humor and knowing Crete perfectly, you can go there with your eyes closed. Simply open them to admire the beautiful landscapes that the Guide will offer you.

Zeer de moeite waard. Prachtig stuk natuur gezien en blij dat we het met een safari hebben gedaan, want het laatste gedeelte van de route erheen was wel spannend qua breedte en type van de weg en ook niet zo makkelijk te vinden. We hadden een super chauffeur/ reisleider, Olivier, die veel wist te vertellen over de omgeving en veel tips onderweg deelde. Ook de andere bezochte plekken, zoals de 3200 jaar oude olijfboom, het traditionele Griekse dorpje en de bijzondere lunchplek waren zeer de moeite waard.

Les gorges de Richtis sont le point culminant de l'une des régions les plus intactes de Crète et les amoureux de la nature. Une activité sportive à l abris du soleil. Peu de monde en ce début d été. À recommander avoir des chaussures adaptées et de l’eau!!! ☀️
