Start at the traditional village of Mochos with its narrow alleys and colourful gardens, then continue to Krasi and visit the 2,400-year-old Writers' Plane Tree. Afterwards, the tour will ascend to the Diktaion Andron, an ancient cave believed to be the birthplace of Zeus. Take in the incredible view of the Lasithi Plateau. After that amazing experience the tour will take you to the vibrant city of Agios Nikolaos through a long-forgotten route where you get to see wildgoats from up close. There you can visit, surrounded by many legends, Voulismeni lake. Next, visit the villages of Elouda and Plaka with the beautiful beach where you can take a swim or/and visit the world-famous Spinaloga which is a short boat-ride away.

We had a brilliant day with Kostas. We saw everything - an olive oil factory, Malia ruins, quaint villages, beautiful beaches and so much food. Every time we stopped Kostas gave us his nuns home made treats yummy ???? Would thoroughly recommend Kostas tour to anyone in Crete for the day.

Imponerende rundvisning på den nordøstlige del af Kreta. Engageret guide, Kostass, der begejstret fortalte om den lokale familieproduktion af appelsiner, oliven, honning, kager, m.v. Fortællingerne blev rundhåndet fulgt op af mange lækre smagsprøver. Vi så vindmøller, olivenproduktion og øen Spinalonga. Vi fik den lækreste frokost i Agios Nikolaos Maisstrali - et sted som guiden fandt til os via sit netværk, da vi spurgte om vejledning. Vi fik et indtryk af det kretenske liv og sammenhængen med naturen. Vi kom glade og trætte hjem fyldt med indtryk fra en meget spændende dag.

Touring with Kostas was a wonderful experience in many ways. He was very knowledgeable about differrent areas on the island, and was flexible about visiting sights that we preferred to see. We visited some beautiful towns and villages, and enjoyed lunch at a lovely hilltop restaurant with amazing views. Additionally, Kostas has a superior command of the English language, the importance of which cannot be underestimated. We strongly recommend this tour operator!
