We booked a private sailing trip to Dia Island and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The private pick-up transfers made things so much smoother (especially as we weren’t staying close by), and from the moment we arrived at the yacht we knew we were in for a treat. The sailing yacht itself was stunning, spacious, and comfortable. The crew explained everything clearly so we knew exactly what to expect on the journey. The sail over took about an hour – some of us sat relaxing at the back, while others stretched out sunbathing up front – the perfect start to the day. Once we arrived at Dia Island, the crystal-clear waters were unbelievable. We snorkelled with fish, tried paddleboarding, and just enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings. While we were out in the water, the crew prepared the most AMAZING lunch for us. The food was a real highlight – beautifully cooked and catered perfectly to our group’s needs. One vegetarian had their own delicious option, and one of us with coeliac disease was offered gluten-free risotto or linguine. The rest of us enjoyed linguine (with or without shrimp), a fresh feta salad, plenty of bread and dips including tzatziki, followed by a gorgeous fresh fruit platter. Paired with unlimited drinks – wines, beers, soft drinks, and iced tea – it was outstanding. After lunch, we had more time to swim, relax, and even try a bit of fishing before sailing back. It was the perfect balance of relaxation, fun, and incredible food. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special and unforgettable day out in Crete.

We had high hopes, unfortunately these were dashed. The boat was RAMMED to capacity making the journey uncomfortable. Only sailed 15min out of the Harbour, then set anchor for 2 hours at st georges Bay. Lovely ocean and opportunity to swim. Food was average at best. Wouldn't book again.

We had a fantastic day out with Captain George and his team - service was perfect from start to finish! We spent the day snorkelling, jumping off the boat and filling our tummies with a delicious BBQ lunch. The boat was clean and the staff were kind and professional.
