No wonder Discover Scuba Diving is our most popular activity. It is specially designed for people who have the utmost curiosity about scuba diving and wish to try it in a safe and friendly environment. The course lasts about 3 hours and consists of a 25 minutes theory class and an actual 45 minutes dive of up to 8 meters. The course is also suitable for children 8-10 years old, and in this option, the dive reaches a maximum of 2 meters. The whole activity is supervised by our PADI instructors, ensuring maximum fun and safety, with a ratio of one instructor for every two adult students and one instructor for every child.

  • Diving within 12 hours of flying is not allowed. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (for example asthma, heart conditions, etc.) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor if needed.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

I came through Crete on a cruise ship and had a small window of time toget a dive inI am a inactive PADI and SDI instructor and a dove all over the world. I had a great open water dive with these guys. Everyone at the shop was very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend omega Scuba!

Was very nervous being a beginner but they are very knowledgeable and take everything at a slow pace to make you feel confident well worth the £109 price I enjoyed it so much I booked 2 more dives and got 20% off . Water very clear and lots of fish to see also had some professional photos taken which is a nice memory to keep

A great company to deal with. From Julia making our booking - answered all our questions and was really responsive to the dive team. Our skipper was so experienced and professional doing our dive briefs each time and our instructors Laura and Jerome were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt like we were in safe hands the whole time whilst also having fun. Wonderful team. Thankyou.
