The trip takes place in the most spectacular coast of Crete. During our kayak trip, we will visit the well known Sweet water beach and will have a stop/lunch afterwards in Loutro village. The whole trip takes place in an area which has NO roads. It is near the national park of Samaria. The whole distance of the trip is about 15km (8.1 nautical miles). No experience required. Tandem or single kayaks are available.

  • You can either pack your lunch or eat in a nearby taverna
  • You need to have a minimum of 1.5lt of water. Water is not included but you can refill for free.

Stelios lent us super kayaks for paddling along the coast. He and Yves guided us around six days, including hiking. They found good places for us to tent. And with a taverna within short walking distance!

Stelios and Yves took good care of our group during our 6 days along the southwest coast of Crete. Beautiful spots, many stops to cool off in the water, eat and drink, lots of fun and great memories made! Safety was always top priority ????

Great 6-day adventure in the more secluded parts of Crete. Enjoyed thoroughly the amazing beaches we camped on, the shoreline with all the rocks, caves and dramatic landscape. The guides are true professionals, Stelios in particular. Equipment was of very high quality. Valley, NDK, and only carbon and lightweight composite paddles. Even Greenland paddles for those who enjoy that more, like me. Thank you for the experience!
