A unique tour to the ancient Crete!!! The centre of Minoan civilization and capital of Minoan Crete lay 5km south of Heraklion The Minoan palace is the main site of interest at Knossos, an important city in antiquity, which was inhabited continuously from the Neolithic period until the 5th c. AD. The palace was built on the Kephala hill and had easy access to the sea and the Cretan interior. According to tradition, it was the seat of the wise king Minos. The Palace of Knossos is connected with thrilling legends, such as the myth of the Labyrinth, with the Minotaur, and the story of Daidalos and Ikaros. This was an all pro experience. The driver and the guide were each totally on time, very friendly, engaging and fun. The drive was very smooth and comfortable navigating to the sites, and the driver had perfect English with cultural information and gave a good connection to Crete. Our guide, Maria, was very sweet, also perfect English, was bright, relaxed and informative. A wonderful day for my partner and me.

Driver was very professional and courteous. Got to learn a lot about Crete and the people along the way. We asked him to stop at an olive mill and met some very nice people. We used the audio tour with VR to see what palace looked like in past but there was no mythological aspect included. Tour with a guide would have probably provided more information.

Safe, dependable, on time, courteous, knowledgeable driver and tour guides. Very enjoyable and a good price for the value! Kostas (Gus) and Helen were excellent. Highly recommend for a cruise port excursion or any activity you can dream up!
