    Our trip takes us across small villages down to the picturesque, former fishing village of Elounda. There is a private fishing boat, which takes us to the island of Spinalonga after a relaxing ride through the blue sea. Here we have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the island. We talked to the inhabitants of the region and learned a lot about the life stories and fates of the people who lived or worked on the island. We would like to share this insight into the history and the personal life of different people. After an extensive tour with our competent tour guide, we will go to the beautiful place Plaka. In a tavern with a cozy atmosphere, we have lunch and enjoy the view of Spinalonga Island. Here we can end the many impressions and who would like to take a small leap into the sea. Last, visit the beautiful town of Agios Nikolaos and enjoy free time at the bottomless lake.

Der Ausflug war super. Bei der Hinfahrt mit dem Bus über die Bergstraßen hat man schon viel von der Landschaft gesehen. Die Überfahrt mit dem Schiff war sehr schön und hat viel Spaß gemacht. Die Führung über die Insel war sehr interessant. Danach hat uns das Schiff in einen kleinen Ort zum Essen gefahren. Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt und wir hatten eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Insel. Danach ging es noch in die Stadt. Wir waren bummeln und haben den schönen See mitten in der Stadt bestaunt. Danach wurden wir zurück in die Nähe vom Hotel gefahren. Alles sehr zu empfehlen, auch für Kinder.

Transported from stalis to agios nickalious by air-conditioned coach. Tour guide on board excellent. 6 or 7 pick ups before onward journey but not too bad. Free time before boarding boat. Lunch was OK, nothing special but good enough. Cruise good. Plenty of information from guides. Swim stop on the way . Spinalonga amazing. Downside was I was not told that €8 euro entrance fee was not included in the price from the agent . Great place of interest and a great talk from Gloria the guide. Most passionate about the place. Good value for money trip.
