In the heart of the Alps, we will visit one of the largest natural attractions in Slovenia - Lake Bled. Besides the blue-green water, we will be able to admire also the picturesque architecture of the Bled castle, which is built atop a cliff that rises above the lake. It is possible to reach the unique island in the middle of the lake with the traditional Pletna boat. There, we will climb up the 99 stone-step staircase to the church and ring the wishing bell. Alternatively, you can decide for a leisurely stroll along the lakeshore, enjoying some of the most spectacular views of this picturesque lake. Our guides are best acquainted with the destination and with tips and other assistance they help you discover all the services that the destination has to offer.

Our Lake Bled tour was fantastic. We were picked up from our hotel at 8 a.m by our tour guide David. The journey time to Bled was about one hour from the centre of Ljubljana. David was very knowledgeable and gave us an insight into the culture of Slovenia and about various places of interest along the way. We were given ample time to explore Bled Castle on arrival and to take some amazing photos as the sun appeared. We were driven around the lake and dropped off to enjoy a thirty minute walk around the western/southern shore where we took photos of Bled Island and the snowcapped Julian Alps in the background, a different photo around every corner. Perhaps another time when we’re better prepared we will take the boat (pletna) to the island, the wind was quite keen and cold. Finally we were taken to the Hotel Park on the eastern shore of the lake where we sampled the famous ‘kremšnita’ cream pastry with coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and certainly would recommend to others.

Excellent experience with very good guide. The guy is very helpful, explainable and polite. The van was clean and comfortable. This is a highly recommended tour.

We really enjoyed this trip, and would highly recommend it to anyone. The guide was great at explaining throughout the trip, whilst we also had a lot free time to explore the beautiful Lake Bled.
